Our teachers are professional artists and art educators who are invested in providing quality classes that produce noticeable results. Imagination, creativity and enjoyment are all combined in projects that develop art vocabulary, knowledge of art history and technical skills.

Like many good things, art comes from the inside out.

In addition to our scheduled classes we offer Custom Classes, Group Events and ART BIRTHDAY PARTIES!

Summer Art Camps

Fun, Cooperative & Inspiring!
Imagine making fun art all day. Never more than 12 students per camp means individual attention from professional artists.

Bring a lunch and we will make all kinds of art for 4 hours/day, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Before and after care available.)
$40 / day ~ 3 days $100 ~ 5 days $155
Attendance is limited to 12, so sign up soon!

You can take any week or day by itself in any session

Family Mask Making
Saturday April 13 and MAY 11~ 1 to 3 PM
Make a Leather mask with master mask maker Jeff Semmerling. Children, accompanied by adult, starting at 6 years of age, can make their own super hero or masquerade ball mask. Everyone makes a mask. $35 each materials included. Bring the whole family!

Do you have a group of friends interested in painting/ drawing/ puppetry/ mask making/ cartooning/ action figure making/ or fashion design? We can make a special class just for you. Up to 8 weeks, once a week or one day workshops. We can be very flexible. We also offer one on one work with our artists for all ages (5 to 105). We conduct explorations in art for special needs artists of all ages as well. Call the studio and we’ll work out a plan to challenge your skills, learn and accomplish your goals. Let’s make art a bigger part of your life!

Mask Making Intensive Workshops Jeff Semmerling of Semmerling & Schaefer Mask Studios, offers workshops to get you started making Professional Masks at the Inside Out Art Studio.

SHAPING LEATHER MASKS

Learn the Semmerling and Schaefer methods for shaping leather masks. For twenty years Jeff and Sonja have perfected the craft. You will make and finish two to three leather masks and leave with a list of sources for materials and tools.
Tuition is $200 all materials included.

ADVANCED LEATHER MASK MAKING

Return to the studio and learn what’s next after the “Shaping Leather “ workshop. Sculpting, Scything and New Sizing Methods will be taught. Feel free to bring projects you are working on.
